Quality is the number one priority at Plastech Corporation. We work closely with customers to establish controls throughout the entire production process, ensuring that quality expectations are met. Our dedication to quality has led to long-term partnerships with loyal customers.

Plastech Corporation utilizes First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and/or a Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) to qualify initial product samples. These inspections are performed in our metrology lab, which checks dimensional and cosmetic requirements per customer specifications.

During production runs, Plastech Corporation completes "In-Process" inspections per established Control Plan specifications. These inspections are completed within our IQMS ERP system, which maintains the data and can provide Statistical Process Control (SPC) graphing for all prior inspections.

Plastech Corporation maintains a high-quality lab and utilizes state-of-the-art inspection equipment. This includes tools such as FaroArm, Zeiss CMM, Konica Minolta Handheld Color Spectrometer, S-T Industries Optical Comparator, and Cordax Vertical Measurement System. All equipment used for measurement is calibrated against instruments traceable to NIST or per manufacturer recommendations.

Plastech Corporation is ISO 9001:2015 certified and has been ISO 9001 certified since 1994, demonstrating a mature Quality Management System (QMS). We also work with UL, CSA, and other regulatory bodies as required.

Plastech Corporation is proud to be RoHS compliant. The Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive restricts the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. Being RoHS compliant ensures that our plastic products meet the required safety and environmental standards.

Plastech Corporation is also REACH compliant. The Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) regulation aims to ensure the safe use of chemicals in products. By adhering to REACH regulations, Plastech Corporation provides customers with plastic products that are safe and environmentally friendly.

Plastech Corporation has two full-time layout techs who work one-on-one with customers to understand their requirements and establish controls throughout the production process. Their expertise contributes to maintaining high-quality standards.
