We take a team approach to managing your project. Each project is assigned a team of 3 people, which includes an Engineer, a Customer Service Representative and an Account Manager.
When you start a project, each mold will be assigned a Project Engineer who handles the technical issues throughout the life of the program. You’ll also be assigned a dedicated Customer Service Representative to serve as your main point of contact. Your Account Manager will serve as the team captain, in charge of coordinating any additional other resources to ensure your project is successful.
At Plastech, we use a defined process to ensure that we meet your expectations with every project. This process includes not just order entry and on-time product delivery, but a disciplined approach to managing continuous improvement and cost reduction measures.
Take a closer look at our unique Customer Process Management System:
Plastech has a highly-skilled team of Engineers ready to get to work on your next project. From start to finish, your Project Engineer will be with you every step of the way. We can help with tool development, part approval, optimization of production and continuous improvement.
Our Project Engineers can help with everything from part design to converting existing metal parts to plastic, using the latest CAD technology. We also use Mold Flow Analysis to simulate the filling, packing and cooling of your plastic part to help fix problems before they start, keep your costs low, and improve time to market.
We can also help you build and source your tool. From concept to part sampling and certification, your dedicated Project Engineer will manage every aspect of your tool build. We use our detailed APQP system to manage each aspect to ensure quality and efficiency.
If you already have an existing mold, send it our way. We’ll do a detailed assessment in our onsite tool shop, assist with transferring raw materials, inventory and components, so we can get your project up and running quickly and seamlessly.
